Administrative Assistant


Dr Rooter is the one of the top plumbing and construction service companies in Southern Ontario, serving Great Toronto Area (GTA) and surroundings.

We are currently looking to add enthusiastic team member to join our team of professionals, must be customer focused, reliable team player with a positive attitude. Willingness to learn and to service customers with dignity and respect to satisfy their plumbing needs and emergencies.


  • Answer and direct customer's inbound phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Keep track of invoices, receipts, contracts and permits
  • Order supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for clients
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers


  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School degree; College degree is a plus
